3 Years

Wow, I am really bad at this! With all the moving we've done and taking care of my little family, I had completely forgotten I even started a blog.

The last 3 years are kind of a blur. We moved in with my parents, both had various jobs, which led to a major decision of Hubby going back to school and FINALLY moved out of my parents house after being there for way longer than originally planned.

My little baby boy is now a walking talking jumping running screaming toddler who loves fruit and cheese and wants to watch Toy Story 5 times a day. We're going to start potty training next month and I am terrified! I may have over informed myself on the topic. I've read so many books and blogs that I'm confused on where to start. Also, we have some fears to overcome. He fell off the toilet one day while standing on it to reach the sink and brush his teeth, now he refuses to sit on it and tells me he's scared. So any advise is welcome!

I'm not very good at this...

I started this to keep my friends and family updated on Ben but I"m not doing a very good job :( oh well.

It's been 2 months and so much has happened. We have all moved in with Grand-mama and Papa (that's Christie's parents), Jeff continues to look for work in ths awful economy, Christie takes care of Ben, and Ben is growing so fast we can hardly believe it.

At Ben's last doctor's appointment he weighed in at almost 17 pounds and has grown to almost 25 inches. He had to get more shots which Mommy hates but he did so good and only cried a little.

We have started him on solid foods, starting with rice cereal which he loves and he has tried squash but had a little reaction to it so no more for now. He has learned to roll over from his back to his tummy, he can also roll from his tummy to his back but it's still a little hard for him. He is also teething, he's getting 2 teeth in the bottom middle of his mouth and loves to chew on anything we give him.

He went swimming for the first time on Tuesday May 26 at Aunt Amber's new house. He liked the water and was splashing and kicking his legs but got cold after 10 minutes and needed a break.
